As part of our work on the Manchester tram system, both for the infrastructure owner – TfGM – and the operator – KAM – we have planned and managed a series of emergency exercises to test KAM’s ability to respond to complex events. KAM’s Managing Director, Aline Frantzen said: “North Star have devised a series of exercises that have tested our people and our processes and has helped us identify opportunities to improve our performance. The North Star team used their imagination and experience to devise scenarios that tested all aspects of our response. Our management of recent ‘real’ events has shown the benefits of this approach.”
