Our Team

Neil is an experienced Rail Systems Engineer and Executive Leader, with extensive knowledge of rail systems and infrastructure. He has vast experience throughout the full lifecycle of major rail infrastructure projects, from early design through to lifecycle asset management and operations and maintenance (O&M). With 19 years of experience located in the Middle East, Neil has held a number of senior management and director positions within O&M service provider and system and infrastructure provider organisations, whilst supporting projects globally. Neil is a passionate engineering leader, thriving on challenge and responsibility, and is able to adapt and respond effectively to fast-changing demands and requirements. Prior to moving into consultancy, Neil most recently held the position of Director of Operations, Middle East and Africa, for Hitachi Rail, responsible for the provision of technical capability and expertise to ensure the delivery of operational services across a portfolio of rail operations, services and maintenance contracts within the Middle East and Africa region.

Most recent projects include:

• Leading a technical O&M team, undertaking detailed design reviews for the Dubai Metro Blue Line, and providing expert support for procurement of the future O&M service provider for the Dubai Metro Blue Line and Dubai Tram
• Providing light rail O&M advisory services as part of the procurement of a low-floor tramline extension in Edmonton, Canada
• Leading the O&M team responsible for the complete range of O&M services for the Princess Noura University People Mover System
• Leading the team responsible for technical maintenance readiness for the Riyadh Metro Line 3 Transit System maintenance contract, prior to the launch of Trial Operations.
