Operations Support Consultant
Katy is an international communications professional with a strong and well-established background in public relations, having worked across the UK and Middle East. She provides operations support to North Star globally, responsible for customer development and ensuring the smooth operation of the businesses. She provides support to the wider North Star team and customer base, including bid writing and project management. Katy’s communications background includes working for Metronet with the Bakerloo, Central and Victoria Lines Alliance Civils team in the UK and the Dubai Government and TECOM Investments in the Middle East.
- Writing a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) submission for Network Rail’s CP7/CP8 signalling framework in the UK
- Writing a UK train manufacturer’s bid to provide rolling stock to VR in Finland
- Project managing a bidder’s submission to provide the operations and maintenance for the Dubai Bus network
- Project managing North Star’s bid to London Luton Airport to provide air-rail advisory services.
