Operations Support Consultant
Katy is a communications professional with a strong and well-established background in Public Relations, having worked in both the UK and Middle East. In the UK, Katy worked for Metronet in London with the Bakerloo, Central and Victoria Line Alliance Civils team. She moved to Dubai 10 years ago and her communications skillset enabled her to work with the Dubai Government, TECOM Investments and consumer brands. As an account manager, she managed global accounts for pharmaceutical companies, such as Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Roche. Her role covered responsibility for medical communications, crisis management and patient advocacy.
Since joining North Star in 2017, Katy has provided Operations Support to the Middle East office in Dubai and is responsible for client development and ensuring the smooth operation of the business. Utilising her experience as an account manager, she provides support to the wider team including project management. Most recently, she project managed the successful re-tender for the London Luton Airport air-rail advisory services contract. Katy coordinated North Star’s re-branding in 2017 and is responsible for North Star’s online presence and ensuring the website is up-to-date and reflects the brand.
