Senior Consultant – Commercial and Customer Experience

Bob is an international passenger and customer experience rail commercial specialist with experience working at a senior level across the UK rail industry in both the public and private sectors. He has wide knowledge gained through working across many different organisations within the transport industry, including the UK Department for Transport, Welsh Government, Transport for London, airports, owning groups and train operating companies. Bob’s experience as a Director of several profitable UK train operating companies, including as Commercial Director of a highly profitable regional franchised rail operation in the UK, has enhanced his specialist commercial and customer experience advice on multiple successful rail franchise bids.

Projects include:

  • Providing air-rail strategic advice to London Luton Airport
  • Delivering major rail service revisions and an enhanced customer experience for spectators during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
  • Reviewing customer experience aspects of the proposed High Speed 2 operation
  • Acting as a commercial specialist, including fares and ticketing, to develop and write the commercial elements of a consortium’s bid to operate and maintain the Dubai Metro and Tram.
