Amy is a skilled Business Administrator supporting North Star’s global team and customer base to ensure the development and delivery of high-quality work, acting as a key point of contact to support the delivery of deliverables and milestones on time and to budget. She has provided administrative support to the Contracts workstream at the Department for Transport’s (DfT’s) Operator of Last Resort (OLR), and successfully project-managed North Star’s operations and maintenance (O&M) advisory team for the City of Edmonton in Canada for the Valley Line West project, a light rail line extension.
Amy coordinates the maintenance of North Star’s Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015 certification, ensuring that all business processes are in line with the international standard. She is responsible for the upkeep of the Document Control Procedure, including managing the naming, storage and version control of company documentation. She has also researched and developed new internal policies, such as a Social Media Policy to ensure that both North Star and its employees use social media effectively without infringing copyright law and customer confidentiality.
