North Star, a consultancy specialising in customer services, operations and people strategies, has secured a sponsorship deal with IARO, the International Air Rail Organisation.
For the first time ever, North Star is sponsoring the 16th International Air Conference, which is taking place in Vienna from Wednesday, 17th October to Thursday, 18th October 2007. The main theme of the event will be ‘Communications in the Air-Rail Industry’ and will see hundreds of worldwide IARO delegates sharing best practice in the air and rail industry.
Andrew Sharp, Director General of IARO, said, “It’s great to have new life in the air-rail industry, North Star has an award winning team, which has an unrivalled understanding of the air/rail sectors. Their fresh and innovative ideas will bring knowledge and a whole new perspective on how we can work together in the future.”
He adds, “ This year we have some outstanding keynote speakers who will address issues relating to air-rail development in the next ten years, current development in communications and modal choice and customer expectations. Places are limited so we do encourage people to apply as soon as possible and not to miss out on this opportunity to learn from the experience of some of the leading individuals in the field.”
Richard Brown, Director of North Star, said, “To have secured this level of sponsorship with IARO is part of North Star’s launch campaign. IARO have successfully built a network where people in the air /rail industry can share best practice with each other and the conference is the perfect platform for us to introduce our brand and raise awareness about how we can provide essential support through our range of services.’
