Mariana joins North Star bringing a total of 14 years of international experience in management systems, risk management and compliance of which the last six years were with the Dubai Metro where she was head of quality and environment. She worked with the operating company from the shadow operations phase and staged growth to delivering world-class service levels.
She was responsible for the architecture, development and implementation of Dubai Metro’s integrated management system and achieving its external certification to ISO standards. She previously worked as environmental, health & safety manager in Granite Services International, a wholly owned affiliate of General Electric, in the energy sector throughout South America. Mariana holds an engineering degree in environmental safety and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA.
