A report prepared by North Star and Atkins for the DfT has been published as an accompanying document to a government Policy Paper entitled “Aviation 2050 — the future of UK aviation consultation: consumers reports”. The report examines air-to-surface access integrated ticketing in support of one of the Department for Transport’s (DfT) six policy objectives in the proposed new aviation strategy – “Helping the aviation industry work for its customers”.
The report covers:
- Current practice in integrated ticketing;
- The appetite and desire for integrated ticketing; and
- Barriers to integrated ticketing (and how Government can act on these).
