Appointment on the UK Department for Transport's Framework
North Star has been appointed as a supplier of transport operations and performance advice to the UK Department for Transport through the second STAR (Specialist Technical Advice for Rail) Framework.

Luton Airport Express Coming Soon, Delivered by Abellio’s EMR
In August 2019, we were invited to attend the launch of the new East Midlands Railway (EMR) franchise at St. Pancras International. There, we were delighted to witness EMR sign a partnership agreement with London Luton Airport (LLA) to whom we have been Rail Advisor since 2011.
Together, this partnership will deliver a ‘Luton Airport Express’ service from December 2020, another step to matching those services already in operation to Stansted and Gatwick airports, and supporting LLA’s already impressive passenger growth.

North Star Airport Surface Access / Integrated Ticketing Report Published
A report prepared by North Star and Atkins for the DfT has been published as an accompanying document to a government Policy Paper entitled "Aviation 2050 — the future of UK aviation consultation: consumers reports". The report examines air-to-surface access integrated ticketing in support of one of the Department for Transport’s (DfT) six policy objectives in the proposed new aviation strategy – “Helping the aviation industry work for its customers”.
