We are pleased to welcome Aaron Wood as Head of Maintenance to strengthen our expertise in this area.
Aaron is an experienced Engineering Project Manager in the rail and aviation sectors. His experience includes the delivery of several flagship and high-value rail projects, including managing all phases of project lifecycle from planning and implementation, through to monitoring, review and completion. Most recently, Aaron acted as Asset Performance Manager for RKH Qitarat in Doha, where he project-managed the development and implementation of a new computerised maintenance management system for Qatar’s recently launched GoA4 rail metro system and regularly acted as the senior maintenance interface with the ultimate client Qatar Rail during the critical operations readiness period.
Prior to his position in Doha, Aaron led high-profile projects for Angel Trains in the UK, managing a fleet overhaul with a value of in excess of £80 million and delivering a £9.2 million reduction in project costs in the process. He also managed a variety of projects for Virgin Trains East Coast in the UK, including the introduction of new technology such as ERTMS and Maximo 7.5 in support of progressing the UK’s wider ‘Digital Railway’ Strategy.
