Alex is an economics graduate who has perused a career that has involved Operations and Customer Service in both the consultancy and operating company environment.

She is results-focused and analytical with strong decision-making skills. She is an accomplished communicator and excellent team player with  experience in management consulting, customer service, project coordination and account management roles. Many of these functions were performed in contribution to the operational readiness of the Terminal 5 rail station at Heathrow for Halcrow. Alex held a pivotal role in the extension of the Heathrow Express to Terminal 5. Here Alex was a key member of the Operational Readiness team that brought the T5 Heathrow Express operation on-line and successfully integrated this service into a station shared with the London Underground and the existing Railway and Airport operations. She repeated this feat in 2009 playing a vital role in the operational readiness testing of the Dubai Metro, the longest automatic railway in the world. . 

Alex has the ability to work with all levels in an organisation and successfully communicate with clients and colleagues, building strong stakeholder relationships. Educated to degree level at the University of Cape Town, Alex has experience of working both in the UK, South Africa and the Middle East.
